Ok now time to have a Static home page for you Blog...
Instructions:
- First create a new page.
- Now add your content to your home page and publish it.
- Now you will see two home pages.
- Goto 'Settings' tab. And then 'Search Preferences'. From 'Search Preferences' settings click Edit next to 'Custom Redirects'
- In the 'From:' box enter only a forward slash '/'. In 'To:' box enter the exact page url. e.g in our case the page url is '/p/a-little-this-site.html'. Check mark the Permanent option and click Save Changes.
Now we have to hide the original Home page which can be done by following some simple steps.
